This Black Hills Gold on sterling silver anklet is 10 1/2" long and fashioned after one of Ireland's unique treasures, the Claddagh, which is traditionally a ring given in friendship or worn as a wedding ring. The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). We have taken the traditional Claddagh design and placed it in this beautiful anklet which comes with a spring clasp. The hands and crown are sterling silver, while the heart is made of 12K rose and 12K green gold. We also carry this same design in a gold Claddagh ring, a silver Claddagh bracelet and a silver Claddagh toe ring.
